As the iPhone 4G rumours start to pick up pace, the question to ask is this. Is the UK ready for the iPhone 4G? Sprint and other overseas networks have been busy upgrading their telecoms in ready for the 4G network, but in the UK are the four networks O2 Orange Vodafone and Tesco ready for the launch expected in May/June this year.
There have been stories that O2 have been pushing their network engineers to implement the changes and upgrades required in readiness for the iphone 4G release. But nothing has been leaked or heard with regards to the other UK networks who already have a partnership with Apple.
The iPhone 4G itself is also seeing some welcomed changes although many of which are just some websites wishful thinking and rumours, one thing for sure it will be 4G enabled with many new features, some of which will be a faster duel core cpu and larger memory. A front facing camera may well be a great new addition as well as the option of colours which like the iPod range allows you to personalise your phone.
One thing is for sure and that's the iphone 4G is coming and consumers will benefit as the 3GS model will no doubt see a subsidised price to keep up the interest.
Some websites who already offer the iphone 3gs free through affiliate programs are already offering a free iphone 4G pre-order, whilst the majority of these websites are legal and trust worthy websites such as Myfreeiphone, you still need to be very careful and don't be enticed by the offer of a free iphone 4G from websites who suddenly pop up to cash in on the new phone.
