Popular winter sports such as speed skating, snowboarding, and ice hockey will be spotlighted in Vancouver, host city in the British Columbia province. According to City-Discovery.com, the event also serves to spotlight the sightseeing attractions and outdoor adventures in and around the city. The travel website announced that a number of Vancouver attractions are available in its selection of tours and activities in Canada.
First on the list is Victoria and Butchart Gardens, which includes a ferry cruise through Active Pass in the Gulf Islands to British Columbia's capital. It also features a drive to the Inner Harbor, Government Street shopping and dining, and a visit to the Butchart Gardens, Royal B.C. Museum and other attractions.
Next is the Vancouver Downtown Walking Tour Experience, which focuses on interesting areas from Gastown to Chinatown. Among the sights included in this activity are: Sinclair Centre, Waterfront Station, Marine Building, Holy Rosary Cathedral, Vancouver Public Library, Victory Square, Chinatown Millennium Gate and Dr. Sun Yat Set Chinese Garden.

As traffic jams are expected during Winter Olympics, the following activities: Vancouver City Highlights and Vancouver and Capilano Suspension Bridge will not be offered between January 28 and February 28, City-Discovery.com advised.
