Michaele Salahi was kidnapped, her husband's statements.
Tareq Salahi told TMZ that he had seen the latest "Real Housewives of DC" star in his home in Virginia about 11 am on Monday, before leaving to go to his cave, and has been missing since then.
Tareq says Michael called him late Monday night and told her she was on the house next to his mother, but her mother had not heard of her.
When she called the Sheriff's Department Warren County for help, said he was told that Michael had already called the police to let them know who is right and just deal with some "family problems".
Tareq, however, believes his wife was forced to make calls, and issued a statement asking the public for help.
"It is our belief that the night before, Michaele Salahi might have been abducted or kidnapped and held by force and forced to tell people, including the authorities, all right," he said, according to TMZ. "We ask the public in the search for her, and if found please contact the authorities."
Salahis were - or are looking for - because they are notoriously Spotlight collapsed state dinner at the White House in 2009 (who claim to be called).
Were included in the Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of DC," which began in August 2010 but was canceled this year after a season.
The Salahi is planning a comeback this month by the reopening of his basement in Virginia, which went bankrupt in December 2008.
Their possessions are auctioned on September 18 after Salahi's plan to reopen with a party by invitation only, which will be filmed for a "primary reality show" in development, according to Tariq.
