A team of experts from Bin Daen Group along with their South Korean
consortium of state owned companies. Bin Daen PEDCO will carry out
drilling work for additional 40 holes in the Block IV in Thar.

It is expected
to take approximately six months for core drilling followed by feasibility
report on the basis of the chemical analysis and geophysical data resulted
from the drilling works.

The feasibility report will include study for the establishment of 1,000 MW
capacity power plant as well as possible upgrading of Thar coal into a form
of synthetic natural gas.

Thar coal field is spread over about 9,000 square kilometers and the quality
of the coals reserved is mostly low ranked lignite with high moisture
content. The same quality of coal is being utilized for power generation in
various countries including China, Germany, South Africa, United States
and Poland.

The coal reserves at Thar are enough for the next five generations, which
could largely meet the increasing demand of electricity.
