How white space can be positive

((•)) Hear This Text

If an area has no words or graphic, how is it positive?

The reason is that there is no negative space in between words. Negative space separates different parts of your message and stops overcrowding. Your sign should never feel cramped.

How can I make sure my sign isn't cramped?

It's easy! Many people attempt to fill their sign with as much info as possible. You're paying for your outdoor signage and you want to get as much out of it as possible. And the more there is to read and see on your sign, the more customers you'll attract, right? Wrong.

Custom outdoor signs with enough white space gives readers a visually stimulating, easily understood message. The eye can move around the sign easily.

But there's so much I want to put on my outdoor sign:

You can make your message say a lot without actually saying a lot. Our sign specialists can help you figure out how to generate a succinct message, or you can check out some of our articles on that topic.

Now that I have a succinct message, how do I incorporate negative space on my custom sign?

Making sure your sign has adequate white space could not be easier.

There are two ways to do this.

1.      Downsize the text and graphics on yours sign so there is more room for negative space
2.      Make your outdoor signs a bit larger but keep all the elements on it the same size
Easy.
