Best of all, Facebook already has a ton of traffic. People love social networks. Your objective is to grab their attention.

You can add links to your website, promotion page, or opt-in page. Make sure your Facebook page has really good information that not only grabs peoples attention but establishes you as an authority in your area of business.
Just like in any other advertising medium you want to create ads that are catchy and contain your best keywords.

 With Google ads, for example, you can use relevant keywords to determine which search engine pages your ads appear on. With Facebook, you have many more variables based on information that is gathered by the site.
 You can use demographics  such as gender, relationship status, likes and dislikes. These ads will appear on pages that are relevant to the criteria you choose.
